The Cry of a Tree

The cry of a tree

 Oh Lord!! Am dying
 My leaves are falling
 The old branches cracked
  with an awful plead

Humans are breaking
the law of nature's making
Selfish deeds of them
ruining the forest's gem

The giant old tree weeps
with red drops on her lips
'Death' is what she fears
that lead her into tears

Man is destroying
the nature's own growing
and that's deforestation
means the whole destruction

The shelter is what he wants
But aims to cut off plants
With an unusual twang
and a scary bang

The spiny axe hits the trunk
and the blood it drunk
was the life of nature
which was yet to mature

In the beam of wisdom
man conquered our kingdom
And that day is near
on which he will burst in tear...
