A SOLILOQUY

Dark or Fair

I hardly remember

But that weary eyes

I still do...

We never had the same blood

never  been colleagues

Still something strapped us..

No body bothered

When your flesh satiated the hunger,

when your blood quenched the thirst

of some brutish vultures..

No men spoke for you

No unions stood for you

that portrays our lacking

concern for humanity..

Neither empathy nor tears

can act as your weapons..

Only the courage and

the fighter in you

can be the rays

through the path of  success.

Let each of us form a fetter,

fight for ourselves

Never to be a witness

to the vicious state of

any 'India's daughter'.
